Like a travel diary, our range of chocolate is based on 4 essential destinations: Sao Tome, Madagascar, Dominican Republic and Ecuador.

These 70% dark chocolate bars have the same percentage of cocoa mass and yet they each have a different taste. Follow us on this journey of the senses where each bar has its own aromatic profile: fruity, cocoa, floral, vegetable. It is the richness of the cocoa tree’s terroir that is expressed in the chocolate bar.

How to make good chocolate? With good ingredients of course! The Hill Bar’s philosophy is to select the best possible raw materials, to transform them in an artisanal way into products of exceptional quality.

Without additives, our chocolate is entirely made on site, from organic cocoa beans and organic beet sugar, in the laboratory of Villeneuve d’Ascq open to the public. This simplicity is made possible thanks to an artisanal know-how to reveal all the aromatic potential of the cocoa bean.

Gourmet chocolate Italian style

Tasting our products is the best way to understand the values of the Hill Bar. Taste is our priority and for this reason we carefully choose our suppliers of cocoa and dried fruits.

The founder, Corrado Barberis, is originally from Italy. A gourmet, he buys from the best hazelnut producers in Piedmont and chooses the rare Bronte pistachios in his recipes.

In the Italian tradition of la dolce vita and the transmission of ancestral know-how, the Hill Bar is a gourmet chocolate shop that makes quality taste a way of life.

For two hours, you will be accompanied by our chocolate chef, our pastry chef or our ice cream chef to share a convivial moment and learn the techniques they use every day to make excellent products from quality raw materials.
